Former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has made a bizarre and bold claim, insisting that "everybody" in England supports Manchester United.
The Argentine, who was recently forced to retire from football, made the admission whilst watching his famous strike in City's title-winning 3-2 win over QPR at the Etihad Stadium back in May 2012. His infamous goal, which is, arguably, the most famous in Premier League history, saw City win their maiden Premier League title at the expense of United, who had beaten Sunderland 1-0 just moments earlier to seal, what they thought, was another title crown.
But Aguero had different ideas. Latching onto Mario Balotelli's pass, the former Atletico Madrid man fired the ball past Paddy Kenny to spark pandemonium inside the Etihad, both on the pitch and in the stands.

That title triumph sparked the beginning of City's recent dominance in Manchester. Since that title win in 2012, they have won the Premier League a further four times in comparison to United winning it just once.
Despite that, Aguero, who netted 260 goals for City, has claimed that everyone in England has love for United. Interestingly, he specifically pointed the finger at the media when making that admission.
"People, you don't know what it's like in England," said Aguero, speaking on Twitch. "In England, everybody, all the journalists, all the TV channels, everybody, they're all Manchester United supporters. Everybody!"
