Angel Olsen has confirmed details of a new studio album. Big Time is due June 3 via Jagjaguwar and is preceded by new song "All The Good Times." You can see a video for the single below.
A press release details a period of great change in which Olsen recorded Big Time. The album came about shortly after Olsen came out as queer to her friends and family before losing both parents within the space of two weeks.
“Some experiences just make you feel as though you’re 5 years old, no matter how wise or adult you think you are,” Olsen said in a statement about coming out to her parents before their respective deaths. “Finally, at the ripe age of 34, I was free to be me.” Read Next: Madi Diaz drops Same History, New Feelings EP Big Time was recorded and mixed with co-producer Jonathan Wilson.
It is the follow-up to Olsen’s 2021 covers EP Aisles and the 2020 album Whole New Mess—a sister record to 2019’s All Mirrors. This summer Olsen will be on tour with Sharon Van Etten and Julien Baker across North America.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Juvenile Division, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has announced the arrest of actor Joseph Gatt on an outstanding felony warrant for Contact with a Minor for Sexual Offense under the California Penal Code.
Joseph Gatt, an actor with roles on “Game of Thrones” and “Star Trek Into Darkness,” has been arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of engaging in “online sexually explicit communication with a minor.”Los Angeles police announced details of Gatt’s arrest in a news release Tuesday and issued an urgent plea for other potential victims to contact authorities.Gatt, 50, was taken into custody at his home in the Beverly Grove neighborhood on April 6, by detectives from the department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the LAPD said. However, police did not release the information until this week.The LAPD said the arrest came after they received information that Gatt had allegedly communicated with a minor across state lines.
