Big Brother is set to return to TV screens next year, it's been reported. ITV are thought to be relaunching the iconic show with the series going back to its original roots if it does return. ITV bosses are reportedly considering the show to air on ITV2 in autumn of 2023, after Love Island.
A TV source told The Sun: “They think putting it on ITV2 will open it up to a new audience and legion of younger fans. “The talks are still at an early, and delicate, stage and the next few weeks will be key. The hit show ran for a whopping 18 years on Channel 4 and then Channel 5, and a number of household names have come from the show.
David McCall famously presented the series, which sees people put in a house together and recorded day and night. The returning show won't feature celebrities but will instead go back to its roots with members of the public, it's been reported. Some of the famous faces from the show include the late Jade Goody, Josie Gibson and Alison Hammond.
