Bernardo Silva has called for his teammates to look at themselves and improve after more dropped points this weekend.
City have drawn three games in a row in the Premier League, albeit against Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham, but have conceded 10 goals in their last four in all competitions and have conceded late goals to drop points in each of those league games. As a result, they sit three points behind leaders Arsenal in third.
With individual errors creeping in at the back, and a number of missed chances in attack, Bernardo wants his teammates to sharpen up if they want to get back to winning ways.

"The little details matter at this level, and we need to defend better as a team," Bernardo said. " We need to look at ourselves. We need to also finish and kill the game as we had the chances [vs Spurs]. We created so many chances and were very good in the pressing but in the end if you don’t score your goals, it will cost you games and cost you points – that’s what has been happening in the last games.”
Bernardo, one of City's captains, said he and his teammates must improve at both ends of the pitch - starting at fourth-placed Aston Villa on Wednesday.
“Individually, we need to look at ourselves and do better, score our chances because we had so many," he added. "Also defend in the little details and in the last minutes. If we want to win games, we cannot concede three or four goals every game – sometimes we will score five or six but most of the time we will not be able to so we need to defend well as a team. Everyone needs to do better.
