AS Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile has revealed he has been in contact with Premier League clubs as he finds himself linked with Manchester United again.
The 21-year-old claimed last year he rejected the chance to join United back in 2020, instead choosing to focus on gaining more experience in Ligue 1. With the summer transfer window quickly approaching though, he finds himself being linked with a move to England once again.
As well as United, Newcastle and West Ham have been touted as possible destinations. With the Reds likely to be in the market for a new defender this summer, Badiashile could be of interest once again.

The young defender has already brought up a century of appearances for Monaco, and has been a big factor in the French club climbing their way into contention for Champions League qualification next season. With three games remaining, the Monegasques sit outside Ligue 1’s top three on just goal difference following a seven-game winning run.
While Badiashile admits he has spoken to English clubs ahead of the summer, the France U21 international didn’t disclose which sides he has been in contact with. For the time being, the defender insists his focus remains on getting Monaco back onto Europe’s top table.
“We all know the competitiveness of the Premier League, it is a fantastic league that of course, is very interesting and we all love these games,” Badiashile said (via The i). “I had the chance to the play in the Champions League with Monaco and I think this club deserves this competition, it’s a club that’s used to playing in this competition and we want to get back on track.
