Ben Hillman was left utterly stunned when a guest on A Place in the Sun dropped a massive "bombshell".
The popular Channel 4 programme aired a new episode on Tuesday (June 4), featuring Ben as he helped a couple in their search for an ideal home in Cyprus. Paul and Lizzie, who had developed a love for Cyprus during their holidays, were searching for a spacious property to house their large family of five children and ten grandchildren.
The couple instantly fell in love with the first property they saw. The luxurious townhouse offered two bedrooms and access to not just one, but two communal swimming pools.
With a price tag of only £110,256, it was well within Paul and Lizzie's £150,000 budget. Ben maintained the pace, with Lizzie admitting they "loved it all" after viewing the second property on their list, reports the Mirror.
Ben was on a winning streak, feeling elated as they moved on to the third property in Argaka. Paul and Lizzie's interest was sparked once again, leading Ben to tell viewers: "This is just going from better, to better, to better. And this is the first time I've seen Lizzie that speechless. Onwards and upwards."
After their tour, Lizzie announced: "I'm sold."

The O.C. is still a fan-favorite show after all these years.
A Place in the Sun star Ben Hillman once had something of a holiday from hell after suffering a gruesome injury while traveling with his family in France. The TV presenter, who works alongside the likes of Laura Hamilton and Scarlette Douglas on the hit Channel 4 show, spent the first few days of the summer 2022 trip getting medical treatment after badly injuring himself at a water park. Sporting a bandaged hand and a plate of hospital grub in the shot, he wrote: "Not the French cuisine I had in mind for the first day of our family holiday!".
A Place in the Sun presenter Laura Hamilton found herself in quite the predicament when property seekers Bob and Vida gave a resounding no to a house on the Peloponnese Coast during a recent episode. The duo, who were on the hunt for their dream retirement spot in Greece with a healthy £410,000 budget, immediately rejected a contemporary home priced at £436,271. Vida was quick to voice her disapproval due to its proximity to a busy road, calling it "awful" from the get-go.

Matt Donnelly Senior Film Writer “In the next 45 minutes, we’re about to hear Gus speak more than he has in the last 40 years,” Vito Schnabel, the art world scion who is increasingly turning his head toward Hollywood, told a crowd at New York’s Tribeca Film Festival last week. He was there to moderate a conversation with American heavyweight filmmaker Gus Van Sant, who just directed Schnabel (and a pack of actors barreling toward Emmy nominations) in “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans.” That history, of a glittery New York whose underbelly was found in the bedrooms and hallways of the ruling class, took a back seat to Van Sant’s impactful career.
Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic For his new “Honeymind” album, singer and actor Ben Platt brought in an especially honeyed voice as a counterpart on one song, Brandy Clark. He had written “Treehouse” in a writing session with Clark well before the album was being put together, and then he and producer Dave Cobb had the eureka (or as Platt puts it, “duh”) moment of realizing just how much more haunting it might sound as a duet with the co-writer, whose chops obviously don’t begin and end with songwriting prowess.

A heated debate took place on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday 4 June that left viewers divided.Travel journalist Stephanie Takyi and A Place In The Sun presenter Lee Juggurnauth were debating whether there should be a cap on the number of British holidaymakers going to Majorca, with the pair arguing for and against the idea.
