Beanie Feldstein has announced that she will be leaving the Broadway production of Funny Girl.
The 28-year-old actress is currently playing the iconic role of Fanny Brice in the first-ever Broadway revival of the classic musical.
The production didn’t get the best reviews and was almost entirely shut out at the Tony Awards, which took place this past weekend.
Jane Lynch, who is playing Fanny’s mother in the show, will leave the production on the same date while Ramin Karimloo and Tony-nominated star Jared Grimes will continue in their roles of Nick Arnstein and Eddie Ryan.
