The cast of Girl from the North Country are taking over the stage at the 2022 Tony Awards!
Mare Winningham and Jeannette Bayardelle performed a few songs from their hit Broadway musical during the awards show on Sunday night (June 12) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

For their performance, Mare came out first and performed “Like a Rolling Stone” before Jeannette closed out the musical’s performance by belting “Pressing On.”

A mentee of the iconic Quincy Jones, Haynes is best known as one third of the gospel trio Trinitee 5:7. More recently, she played the lead role in the UK’s production of Tina.“I can’t say exactly when I got the call because I don’t want to give timelines,” Haynes told Rolling Stone magazine about the offer from the legendary rock band.
