One of TV's most gripping series has returned, and it's already brought some serious shade from some of The Traitors. One contestant that fans were sad to see go was Sonja, 66, who looked dramatically different before appearing on the BBC show, following her staggering five-stone weight loss. Sonja became the first star to be banished from the castle after her co-stars wrongly suspected her to be a Traitor.
On her exit, she told her fellow contestants: "Well guys, facts are important to me as they obviously are to you. So here’s a fact I would now like to confirm to you, and that is that I am a Faithful." The 66 year old has now revealed the dramatic transformation she underwent before the show while appearing on the official BBC podcast, The Traitors: Uncloaked. She said: "For the last year I've been on a major diet and lost nearly 30 kilos." Viewers are familiar with the morning ritual of the show which sees the contestants gather around a large breakfast buffet as they eagerly wait to see who remains in the competition.
While it looks as though the breakfast is rather luxurious, Sonja and fellow co-star Aubrey revealed it was not while on the podcast. Aubrey said: "It was disappointing, isn't it? One of the things I was expecting, 'Oh this lovely buffet in the morning'. "You were lucky if you got a cup of coffee.
