Dianne Buswell has given a rare insight into her relationship with boyfriend Joe Sugg and opened up about starting a family as well as the pair's plans for 2024. The Strictly Come Dancing star, 34, has been in a relationship with YouTuber Joe, 32, for five years, after they met on the BBC One show back in 2018. Shortly after the series ended, the pair went public with their romance, which has continued to go from strength to strength.
Having brought their dream home earlier this year, Joe and Dianne are now looking to the future, with the professional dancer revealing they'd both "love" to be parents one day. The couple, who have jetted off to Australia to celebrate Christmas with Dianne's family, have no imminent plans to start a family, but Dianne has admitted it's definitely on the cards although she doesn't know when. “I think definitely for sure at one point we’ll have children.
It’s something we’d both love, but we don’t know when just yet," she revealed to Closer magazine. Dianne added: "We always say our kids are going to watch YouTube videos of us dancing one day, and that’s so cool!” Joe and Dianne came in second place on Strictly in 2018 and proved to be a perfect match both on and off the dance floor. Five years on, and the couple still love to dance together and Joe is still eager learn more moves.
The pair are even planning to attend lessons together in the near future, with Dianne saying: "We still love to dance together. Joe loves ballroom and he’s always trying to do it with me in the kitchen. We’re going to have Argentine Tango lessons together soon!” Dianne, who hails from Banbury, Australia, joined the cast of Strictly in 2017 and has proven to be a fan favourite on the BBC show.
