Strictly Come Dancing fans were left feeling 'sick' as they shared their complaints about an issue spotted before this year's winners were announced. After 13 weeks of dancing and dance-offs, Saturday night (December 16) marked the grand final of the BBC One dance contest.
It was down to just three remaining couples - Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell - to dance it out for one last time in a bid to be crowned the 2023 Strictly champions and to lift the coveted Glitterball trophy.
After performing three spectacular performances each, at the end of the night, the scores given by the judges saw Layton and Nikita at top of the leaderboard with a total score of 119 points out of a possible 120 while Bobby and Dianne bagged 117 points. Ellie and Vito, meanwhile, placed bottom of the final leaderboard having received a total of 115 points.

But just like last year's winners Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal, former Coronation Street star Ellie and her dance partner Vito came out on top in the end following the public vote with hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman confirming they had won the 21st series of the dance competition.
However, before the votes were counted and verified and Tess and Claudia delivered the all-important news, Strictly viewers were treated to a performance from Cher, the Strictly class of 2023 who returned to the dance floor for one last time and also a VT which showed members of the public divulging their thoughts on different moments
