Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzmin has discussed his grandmother's escape from Ukraine which saw her having to walk miles for the first time since undergoing an operation.

Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kumzin has spoken out about his fears for his grandmother who is currently in Ukraine.
The professional dancer, who made his debut in the BBC dance competition last year, appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Thursday to talk about what his own family is facing and how people can help.
Nikita, 24, was born in Ukraine but he and his family moved to Italy when he was nine years old.
However, his grandmother remains in the country.

Appearing to speak to Lorraine Kelly via video link from Germany, Nikita said he has to 'compose' himself after hearing her talk to ITV's global security editor Rohit Kachroo who was live from Kyviv.
He explained it was 'relatively quiet' overnight but in context, this meant they were only woken three times by loud bangs and hear air raid sirens a couple of times.
Rohit also spoke about the incredible spirit of people not leaving the country's capital city.
Going on to speak to Nikita, Lorraine commented how it was 'very strange' to be speaking to him in such different circumstances to when he appeared on her self-titled show last year during Strictly.
"The future was very bright and now here we are," the host, 62, said. "You must be so worried about your family..."
"It's absolutely heartbreaking," Nikita admitted.
Asked if he has been able to have contact with his grandmother, Nikita said they 'luckily' still have a connection to her.
"She's actually trying to protect us from being scared," the dancer said. "Every time we can hear gun shots or explosions in the background, she's always telling us it's a movie on the TV.
