BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Janette Manrara says 'it's quite scary' as she makes admission about being a mum

Janette Manrara has said she made a 'scary' realisation about the mum she's going to be, several months after welcoming her first child into the world. The professional dancer-turned-presenter gave birth last July to her baby girl with husband Aljaz Skorjanec.
The couple, who were both pros on Strictly Come Dancing, announced their daughter Lyra Rose Skorjanec's arrival on July 29 in a social media post featuring a black and white photo showing the family of three for the first time after their bundle of joy arrived via C-section in a London hospital.
They have since been keeping their fans and followers updated on their new lives with their little ones in tow - including playdates with their Strictly pals.

Both Janette and Aljaz have now sat down for a chat with podcaster and author Giovanni Fletcher on her podcast, Happy Mum Happy Baby, and in a clip shared from the interview, Janette can be heard talking about the 'primal instinct' she has developed since welcoming Lyra into the world.
"I can see already what I'm going to be like as a mother. I am going to take no BS from anybody when it comes to my daughter," Janette told a laughing Giovanna. "We have been watching some TV shows and stuff and if something happens to one the kids, I'll be like, 'If that was me to Lyra, I will rip that person's head [off]."
