BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden 'can't believe it' as she shares major news after cancer treatment

Amy Dowden has told fans she 'can't believe it' as she shared an exciting announcement. The Strictly Come Dancing star has had a rough year after being diagnosed with cancer last April.
The Welsh dancer was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in May last year after she found a lump in her breast in April, the day before going to the Maldives on honeymoon with Ben, a fellow professional dancer.
Amy announced the news after undergoing a mastectomy and later bravely documented going through chemotherapy treatment. But while the course of treatment wasn't without its setbacks, earlier this year, she was given the positive news that there was no evidence of disease but will not receive the “all clear” for five years due to her type of cancer.

Now, after sharing her hopes of returning to the ballroom when Strictly returns with its 22nd series, Amy has revealed her latest move as she told her fans and follower she'll be releasing her first book.
Sharing a video to Instagram on Tuesday (April 30), the 33-year-old could be seen behind the scenes of what appeared to be a photo shoot for the front cover of Dancing in the Rain that is set for release in September.
