Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has been thanked by her fans as she shared her 'pride' over a very personal project. The dancer has revealed she's contributed to a book on the topic of eating disorders.
Dianne, who has been a professional dancer in the BBC One dance show since 2017, first opened up about her bulimia battle in 2022 and told how she was unable to move at the height of her ill health. She also said the extreme nature of her eating disorder saw her passing out and left her at risk of a heart attack.
Opening up on BBC One show Freeze The Fear with Wim Hof, Diane revealed: 'I worked on a cruise ship for quite a while. It's tricky, because as a dancer you get weighed. We got weighed every week and had a thing called a WW, which was a Weight Warning. I had two of them in my time and I weighed two more kilos than I do now."

She also told how she visited a doctor and underwent tests before being told that her heart 'was under so much pressure' that she could have a heart attack. She said: ""There is still that slight voice in the back of my head - I don't think it fully ever 100 per cent goes away - but it's the way I deal with it now that is so much stronger and healthier and better for me."
Then, appearing on ITV's Lorraine last year, the 34-year-old said: "One thing that I really realised when I wasn't well, is how much movement made me happy. How good that was for my mental health. When that was taken away from me because my body wasn't able to produce what I wanted, it really got me down. Movement is something I need to keep myself
