BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans have vowed to boycott the 2023 series after it was announced that Amanda Abbington would be taking part.
The Sherlock star, who was previously in a relationship and has two kids with fellow actor Martin Freeman, is now dating a former Britain's Got Talent contestant.
And it was revealed on Friday's instalment of The One Show that she would be competing against a host of other celebs to battle it out on the dancefloor in the hopes of winning the Glitterball trophy.
The BBC Press Office tweeted: "The game is on! Award-winning stage and screen actor Amanda Abbington is the first celebrity confirmed for #Strictly Come Dancing 2023 and "can't wait to start".
"Is she ready for a study in sparkles?"
However, Yorkshire Live reports that some fans were less than happy about this announcement, and even vowed to boycott the 2023 series.

After her Strictly news broke, Amanda's Twitter account seemed to vanish on Saturday, August 5.
