Strictly Come Dancing fans have criticised the judges over their scoring of one of this week's contestants on Saturday's live show. Viewers weren’t happy with the reaction Angela Rippon received from the judging panel compared to the other dancers.
The broadcasting legend performed the Paso Doble to Madonna’s Hung Up alongside her partner Kai Widdrington. During her dance she slipped and the error was noticed by head judge Shirley Ballas.
However, she received high scores from the judging panel. Judge Motsi Mabus even told her: “This Paso is going to Blackpool” ahead of next week’s show, which will be held in the iconic Blackpool Tower ballroom. Craig Revel Horwood praised Angela for her leg extensions.

But fans felt that Angela Rippon didn’t deserve her high scores compared to the other dancers. Taking to social media site X, @Claire25970 wrote: "Once again Angela R has been overmarked when you compare it to Bobby and Nigel. When a mistake is made is shouldn’t be overlooked."
@KrisKP06 added: “How Ellie got the same mark from Craig as he gave Angela R is mind blowing. Angela was great but Ellie was better so the score should really reflect that #Strictly”
@_LoobyLou72 wrote: “LIVID!!!!! For the first time @CraigRevHorwood surely has the scoring wrong @bbcstrictly same score for Angela R, who slipped - as Ellie and Vito, who were phenomenal. No mention of Angela’s slip by any judge either, are they blind when it comes to her dances?”
