BBC Gladiators fans have all said the same thing as the show crowned its champions on Saturday evening after a thrilling final that saw four competitors face off against the super-fit stars of the show before taking each other on in the Eliminator. After 11 weeks of fierce competition, the finale saw Finlay Anderson and Marie-Louise Nicholson emerge victorious after a tense final showdown under the watchful eye of presenting duo Bradley and Barney Walsh.
Despite all four competitors putting up a good fight, in the end Army officer Finlay beat wrestler Wesley Male in the quest for victory while personal trainer Marie Louise triumphed over firefighter Bronte Jones. As the final began, it was impossible to predict who had the upper hand as all four contestants had put in sterling performances throughout the contest so far.
Viewers were thrilled by the finale and it left them eager for more, with many viewers eagerly counting down to the return of the next series.
