BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty appeared to be unimpressed as her co-host informed her she'd "missed the memo" on the morning show.
The TV star returned to the iconic red sofa on Friday, 29 March alongside co-host Ben Thompson. Naga, 49, and Ben discussed the Easter bank holiday and the different getaways people have planned.
The pair spoke to reporter Katie, who was speaking live from Manchester Airport. As Katie finished her news segment, Ben responded: "Yes Katie, very jealous of those jetting off for their holiday weekend.
I know you'll be at the airport for us going nowhere, but we'll talk to you a little later, Katie thank you." Sarcastically, Naga replied: "Why are you jealous? You get to be here?" to which Ben then added: "Oh yeah that's true. Yeah you're right." Sports presenter Mike Bushell was also on the BBC Breakfast sofa at the time, and he pointed out that himself, Ben and Katie were all wearing pink on the show, but Naga was not. He joked she'd missed "the memo", but Naga appeared unimpressed by the joke.
"At least Ben got the memo! Katie, us two, Naga?" Mike said. Ben could be studying Naga's blouse as he suggested it had pink tones. Unimpressed with her co-stars' jokes, Naga then snapped back at Mike and Ben.
She told them if they had "bothered" to inform her of the pink-themed outfits for Friday's show, she would have also matched with them. BBC Breakfast fans were quick to pick up on Naga's reaction, with some wondering if she was "grumpy" on the show. One person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: "Wow Naga is grumpy this morning, is it because she's having to work the Bank Holiday," followed by a laughing emoji.
