BAFTA TV Awards will beam fans onto the red carpet as HOLOGRAMS

awards-show red carpets had become extended PR exercises with little in the way of spontaneity or fun. But a small group of attendees at Sunday night’s TV Baftas swished and twirled their way to their seats in high-fashion looks that were more thrilling than anything we’ve seen for ages.

The BAFTA Television Awards 2021 were held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at London’s Television Centre. The event was held in keeping with the COVID-19 protocols and hosted some of the biggest celebrities from British Television who walked the red carpet looking their best.

Bradley Walsh and his wife Donna Derby looked every inch the glamorous couple as they arrived on the red carpet ahead of the BAFTAs 2021.The Chase host, 61, who has been nominated for his first British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) award, and former dancer Donna, arrived hand-in-hand for the glittering event at west London's Television Centre. Dad-of-two Bradley looked smart in a black tuxedo while Donna, who tied the knot to the TV star in 1997, stunned in a one-shoulder gown.

Watching all the drama unfold with the British monarchy shows that the US is probably better served by not having a Queen and all that it involves. Of course, cynically, you can point to our celebrity-obsessed culture and show that maybe it’s not all that different than having a real monarchy.

Naman Ramachandran Michaela Coel’s “I May Destroy You” and Steve McQueen’s “Small Axe” were the big winners at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts’ (BAFTA) TV Craft Awards. “I May Destroy You” won the key awards of director, fiction, editing and writer, drama, while “Small Axe” had the most wins with five BAFTAs.
