The killer comedy drag show, starring some of the most famous drag queens, is coming to New York this summer. “Death Drop,” is set to begin its off-broadway previews on June 30, followed by opening night on July 13 at New World Stages. The show stars “RuPaul’s Drag Race’s” Jujubee as Summer Raines, Willam as Shazza and Shuga Cain as Lady Rosebud von Fistenberg. Joining the “Drag Race” alum include Peachez Iman Cummings (“Worst Cooks in America”) as Morgan Pierce, Wang Newton (“Sacred Wounds”) as Phil Maker and the “Death Drop” writer Holly Stars as the Bottomly Sisters. New Leaf Literary & Media represents Bardugo for publishing and will now co-represent her with WME in all other areas. Bardugo is best known for writing the so-called Grishaverse novels, which consists of nine books total beginning with the “Shadow and Bone” trilogy. Her books have sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. Netflix currently airs the series version of “Shadow and Bone,” which is based on the three books of the trilogy as well as Bardugo’s “Six of Crows” duology. The cast of the series includes Jessie Mei Li, Archie Renaux, Freddy Carter, Amita Suman, Kit Young, Danielle Galligan, Calahan Skogman, and Ben Barnes. The series launched on Netflix in April 2021 and was renewed for a second season in June. Season 2 premiered on March 16 of this year and remains in the Netflix Top 10 at the time of this publishing. Charna Flam Jonathan Majors was arrested on Saturday in New York on domestic violence allegations after a dispute with a 30-year old woman. According to a statement from the NYPD, the woman told officers that she was assaulted, and was taken to the hospital with “minor injuries to her head and neck.” A representative for Majors denied the allegations. “He has done nothing wrong,” Majors’ spokesperson said in a statement to Variety. “We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.” According to the police statement, the officers received a 911 call around 11:14 a.m.
