Armed cops have swooped on an Edinburgh address.
Police have rushed to the scene at Lochend Avenue in the Restalrig area of the capital.
A spokeswoman said the ongoing incident was part of a 'pre-planned operation' into an active criminal enquiry.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Officers are currently in attendance at an address in Lochend Avenue, Edinburgh, as part of a pre-planned operation. Enquiries are ongoing."
