Ant McPartlin and his wife Anne-Marie beamed as they left Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway live show in London. Ant, 48, recently spoke about "the importance of family" after quitting his Saturday Night Takeaway with best pal and co-host Declan Donnelly, with the final series currently back on our screens. On Saturday, 24 February, Ant and his wife of three years, Anne-Marie, 45, could be seen grinning as they sat in the back of a chauffeur-driven car as they left the ITV studios where the show was filmed.
They were both dressed casually, with Ant in a dark outfit and white sneakers, whilst Anne-Marie sported a Varsity jacket in black and white. In May 2023, Ant and Dec announced that they were taking a break from the popular prime time TV show, as they shared that they wanted to "catch our breath" whilst putting the multi-BAFTA-award-winning show on "pause".
The ITV show is much-loved by audiences, and it has been a staple part of British television for the past two decades. Ahead of the new series, Ant opened up about how the show reminded him just how important "togetherness" is.
The presenter now has two step-children after marrying Anne-Marie in 2021.
"The shows you grow up on stay with you for the rest of your life,” Ant said. “I remember being babysat by my nanna when my mum would go out on a Saturday night and we’d watch Noel’s House Party, Game For A Laugh and Blind Date. "I remember that fondly because she used to love those shows and we used to watch them together.
You can watch Takeaway with you grandma and your kids. "It’s a multigenerational watch and we’re privileged that families come together to watch this show," he added. “When we first started Takeaway, we thought, ‘Imagine if this runs for 10 years!’
