Amber Heard has formally returned to the red carpet after settling her legal battle with Johnny Depp!
The 37-year-old Aquaman actress made her Hollywood return for the premiere of her new movie In the Fire on Saturday (June 24) at the 69th Taormina Film Festival in Taormina, Italy.
For her big comeback, Amber wore a black dress with a sheer neckline and cape. She styled her hair in tight ringlets and provided a pop of color with a bright red lip.

She was joined at the premiere by co-stars Luca Calvani, Eduardo Noriega and Yari Gugliucci and director Conor Allyn.
Amber opened up about her movie to People, saying it was “about the almost supernatural effect and force of love.”
“It is about the boundaries that love can cross and its creation, and really about the overwhelming power that love has,” she continued. “I don’t want to sound cheesy about it, but it’s a movie about love.”

The producers and festival organizers had worried about possible demonstrations by Depp supporters. Producer Pascal Borno told Variety he had to persuade the Italian police to provide extra security after receiving online threats. “They took it seriously and afterwards I promised them selfies with Amber,” he said.

The six-week courtroom spectacle ended in June 2022 with a $10.35 million judgment against Heard for defaming Depp by penning a 2018 op-ed that referred to herself as a domestic abuse victim.The jury handed Heard $2 million in her countersuit.
