Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose, who hosted the Tony Awards a few weeks ago, was in Atlanta recently for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the OMEGA boutique and a dinner that evening. Between gigs, DeBose — an OMEGA brand ambassador — took time to talk to reporters.

Broadway’s biggest night is back! The 2023 Tony Awards were held on Sunday, June 11, at the United Palace in New York City’s Washington Heights.

Those up for the prestigious awards include “Some Like It Hot,” with a total of 13 nominations, as well as “& Juliet,” “Shucked” and “New York, New York,” which received a total of nine nominations each. Almost Famous is headed to Broadway in 2022.The 2001 coming-of-age film was based on Crowe’s own experiences in the early 1970s when he was a teenage music journalist for Rolling Stone, touring with rock bands Led Zeppelin, Eagles, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Crowe won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.The filmmaker announced back in 2018 that he had started work on adapting the movie into a musical.
