All the roadworks happening in Greater Manchester this week

Road works can be a pain for all those travelling both in and out of the city.
Below is a comprehensive and helpful guide to all the roadworks across Manchester and in your area, to give you a head start in planning your journey and avoiding pit falls.
This is what to expect over the coming week according to Transport for Greater Manchester.

There are currently no planned major roadworks due to take place in Central Manchester this week.
Two-Way signals will be in place on Rochdale Road, at its junction with Pine Street, until Friday 15 April for works between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
A lane closure will be in place on Middleton Road at the junction with Old Hall Road in Manchester from 5th - 8th April. The work is taking place between 9:30 am - 3:30pm and is being undertaken by Telefonica (O2 (UK) Limited).
Multi-way signals will be in place on Whalley Road in Ramsbottom at Spring Street from 4th - 8th April. Times for the work are not specified, the work is being undertaken by Last Mile Electricity Limited.
A lane closure will be in place o/s 229a Oldham Road in Failsworth from 1st - 7th April. The work is taking place between 09:30am - 3:30pm and is being undertaken by Electricity North West.

There will be lane closures in place at the following locations for the Trafford Road improvement scheme; Regent Road roundabout, Broadway, Goodiers Drive, Trafford Road and Merchants Quay. The work is taking place until April 2022.
