Alejandro Garnacho's brother has shared a cryptic post on his Twitter page to suggest that the Manchester United star might be about to become the club's new No.7.
As revealed by the Manchester Evening News on Friday, United are understood to be considering awarding the soon-to-be 19-year-old the iconic shirt number. The youngster, despite only making his senior debut a little over 12 months ago, has made rapid progress, becoming a key part of manager Erik ten Hag's plans.
Garnacho, who made his senior debut for Argentina last week, made a total of 34 first-team appearances for United during the most recent campaign, scoring five goals and grabbing five assists. He has instantly become a firm fans' favourite and Reds supporters are excited to see just how good he might become.
The No.7 shirt at Old Trafford has, of course, been vacant since Cristiano Ronaldo departed the club back in November. The Portuguese star's second United spell came to an abrupt end after a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan.

It means the No.7 shirt is available to any current member of United's squad this summer, as well any potential new signings. However, the shirt has often been associated with wide players at Old Trafford and Garnacho could be in line to take it.
If awarded it, he will be the first United teenager to have donned it since Ronaldo was given it back in 2003. In terms of wide players, the likes of Antonio Valencia and Angel Di Maria have worn it since.
And now activity on social media from Garnacho's brother's Roberto has suggested that a shirt number change could soon be in the offing for the Argentine ace, posting a shirt edit on his Twitter
