If you're a fan of Aldi's beauty products, you'll be happy to hear that a sell-out 'dupe' is officially making a comeback.
The discounted supermarket sent beauty fans wild last year when it dropped the Luminous Lip Oil. Hailed as "unbelievable" by beauty buffs online, this nourishing product was said to be similar to the Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil, which goes for £32 at Dior, Boots and John Lewis.
A viral sensation on TikTok when it was first landed in the Specialbuys, it was no surprise that the retailer's budget lip oil quickly sold out. Luckily, for those who have been patiently awaiting its return, we now have a date.
Aldi has confirmed that the Luminous Lip Oil will once again be back in stock from Sunday, June 23. However, like all Specialbuys, the stock will be limited, so you might want to head to your local Aldi to avoid disappointment.
Returning in three popular shades - clear, pink and cherry - the Luminous Lip Oil has been formulated with vitamin E and a range of antioxidants to nourish and moisturise your lips. It also comes complete in an elegant glass bottle that gives it a luxury feel.
The Lacura Lip Oil does look almost identical to Dior's Lip Glow Oil, which boasts a similar glass bottle and is available in 11 shades. While Aldi's lip oil costs just £3.99 for a 10ml, Dior's costs £32 for just 6ml - meaning shoppers are saving over £28 with the Lacura buy.
The budget Luminous Lip Oil gained significant attention from a makeup artist, @emmacmua, on TikTok when it debut last year. She said: "This Aldi Lip Oil is unbelievable. Anyone that’s like me that likes a glossy lip – honestly. Not sticky, it goes in clear then after a minute you get you get a gorgeous, pinky lip. How unreal, I’m obsessed."
