Airline, which offered a behind the scenes look at the life of staff working for budget airline EasyJet, won over a huge fan base and ran on ITV for nearly ten years.The series followed staff at various airports up and down the country as they did their best to tackle delays, cancellations, tech problems and, most infamously, tricky customers. It was a massive hit and, at its peak, attracted a million viewers an episode.
It’s been off the air since 2006 - but where are the stars viewers came to know and love now? From "ageless" TV appearances to battling cancer multiple times, here's a catch up with the cast.. Leo Jones Leo Jones was working as an EasyJet supervisor when he first appeared on the series.
He was lauded by viewers for his continued professionalism and the adept way he handled even the most hostile of travellers. He stayed at Easyjet after the show finished and eventually ended up being promoted to regional manager, before finally leaving the company in 2018.
After that, he started working as a fitness instructor and occasionally offering travel advice and tips on TV and radio. However, in 2022, he was handed a five year restraining order and a two year suspended sentence after he plead guilty to causing serious harm and distress to GB News presenter Ellie Costello after appearing on air with her as a travel expert.
Jane Boulton Jane was another EasyJet supervisor who first appeared on the show for its’ second series in 1999. She became well known for her sassy and take-no-prisoners attitude to customer service, and fans praised her for her savage comebacks, including telling a late customer that “it is easy if you get here on time.” Jane quit the industry for good in 2014 and set up her own party planning
