She used her stern Mary Poppins voice and no-nonsense attitude to turn misbehaving kids into angelic little ones - and hundreds of parents across the UK were grateful for her parenting tips and tricks.The iconic show began in 2004 and since then, Jo, who has worked as a nanny for over 30 years, has amassed a whopping fortune - approximately £8m.
After nearly nine years off air, global parenting expert Jo, now 53, returned for another series of Supernanny but this time, took her expertise across the pond to the USA. We take a look at what Jo's been up to since taking a step back from the spotlight...
Fortune and new series The Channel 4 star's incredible fortune is thanks to her dedication on Supernanny and its inevitable success - with the legendary show running for 135 episodes from 2005 until 2020. In each episode, Jo helped a family where the parents struggled to discipline their children.Through instruction and observation, she offered alternative ways to parent the children and regain order in the household.
A follow-up programme named Jo Frost: Extreme Parental Guidance ran from 2010 to 2012 then Jo later began starring on Family S.O.S. in 2013 but the TLC show was shortlived.
In January 2020, a twenty-episode season of Supernanny aired - eight years after the latest series finished - and saw Frost discipline a new generation of disobedient children.Then in September 2020, Nine Network announced Jo would be returning to screens as the front their new show The Parent Jury in Australia.
