Iconic husband-and-wife duo Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch have opened up on a recent disagreement they had involving pets in their home. Former footballing star Peter admitted he left his Liverpool-born model wife in tears, after he told her recently she was "ruining his life".
Peter, one half of the loved-up couple - who have been an item for 17 years and share four beautiful children together - explained that they recently became embroiled in a spat over animals.
The 42 year old sportsman has made it clear for some time that he isn't interested in welcoming any more pets into the family home - something he's been firm on for years. But Abbey, 37, has been desperate for a new puppy for some time, claiming she would be more than happy to have another youngster to look after all by herself.
Speaking to The Guardian this week, Peter admits he actually texted Abbey over their doggy disagreement, telling her: "I love you but you are ruining my life." "I was being serious," Peter told the publication. "But at least I said I love you." The couple’s podcast has so far featured a string of hilarious revelations about their romantic life together, with the pair using the outlet as a means of quashing any dramas or arguments that arise between them.
Earlier this year, Abbey shared that she didn’t tell her dad for a while when she started dating Peter, but her dad, a big football fan, didn’t take it too well and told her that it was a bad look to be dating a footballer. She also revealed that she lied about where she was going when she headed out for their first date, as she was still living at home when they met.
