Harry Potter star Miriam Margolyes has not had too much trouble raising a few eyebrows in recent times during appearances on talk shows and live radio. The 82-year-old became famous around the world for playing Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter films.
But she is also well known for her strong opinions and often use of shocking language during TV and radio appearances. Miriam turned the airwaves blue in October with her opinions about the appointment of Jeremy Hunt becoming Chancellor of the Exchequer.
But speaking on the Graham Norton Show, which she will be appearing on tonight (Friday), she said she regretted swearing and said she had not realised what she had done. Miriam has been talking on the couch with BBC talk show host Graham Norton about her new book Oh Miriam!
