BBC The One Show's Alex Jones puts head in her hands after 'awkward' Peter Crouch comment

The One Show presenter Alex Jones was left red-faced after an 'awkward' comment from Peter Crouch. The BBC programme returned for its 7pm slot on Tuesday night (October 10) with Welsh TV presenter Alex Jones and her co-host Jermaine Jenas at the helm.
Welcomed onto the show was former footballer Peter Crouch, alongside his model wife Abbey Clancy. The pair sat down on the sofa with The One Show hosts to share their relationship advice off the back of their popular podcast. Also on the programme was singer Bryan Adams, who discussed his upcoming performances, and comedian Munya Chawawa who told viewers all about his debut stand-up tour.
But an awkward moment came as Alex and Jermaine wrapped up their interview with Munya and prepared to close the show by sharing some viewers' comments. "Lots of you have been in touch," Alex said before turning her attention to Abbey and sharing: "Kim says, 'Abbey was my favourite Strictly moment. Her waltz with Aljaž was grace personified.' Gosh, it was brilliant."

"We've got another one here for you Bryan," Jermaine then added before reading out: "Heaven was the dance at my wedding and I'll love it always." Reading another comment out for Bryan, Jermaine said: "I absolutely love Bryan, me and my late husband's song was Summer of 69, we never got to see you in concert but always had your albums on repeat", reports WalesOnline.
