Gene Maddaus Senior Media Writer “Rust” will resume production in January, more than a year after cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was shot and killed on set. But the production will not return to New Mexico, where a criminal investigation and state workplace safety proceedings remain unresolved. The production is still looking for a new location, but California is a possibility, said Melina Spadone, the attorney for Rust Movie Productions LLC. The production company announced a settlement on Oct. 5 with Matthew Hutchins, the widower of the cinematographer. Under the agreement, the production will be able to resume after a 15-month hiatus. Matthew Hutchins said in a statement that completing the film would be a way “to pay tribute to Halyna’s final work.”

The United States could become more closely united with Canada and Mexico as there are reportedly negotiations in the works between the Biden administration and these countries to form a European Union-like agreement, according to Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz. Skiba assumed the role for the punk-rock band seven years ago following DeLonge’s second departure from Blink, which occurred due to creative differences and the artist opting to work on other non-music endeavors. “I sent this to Matt personally, but it’s important for the world to know that I honor him,” DeLonge’s caption read, noting that he first sent the kind words directly to Skiba. The post shares admiration for the Alkaline Trio frontman, who initially “filled in” for a handful of club shows and at the Musink festival in March 2015 before officially joining the band later in the year. Skiba performed shows with the band and recorded two studio albums, “California” and “Nine,” during DeLonge’s seven-year absence. DeLonge noted that the band would not still be around today if it wasn’t for Skiba’s ability to “jump in and save the day.”

ATLANTA – Democratic Georgia gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams is pushing back on the recent criticism she's faced on the campaign trail regarding her stance on abortion, as well as previous comments surrounding the results of the 2018 gubernatorial election that she lost to incumbent Republican Gov. The original members of blink-182 – Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker – will reunite for the first time in 10 years for a worldwide tour that will run from March 2023 through February 2024.

Blink-182 have reunited with Tom DeLonge for a huge world tour, and are due to release a new single this week.The song ‘Edging’ is set to arrive on Friday (October 14), and it marked the first time in a decade that DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker had been in a studio together (pre-save/pre-add it here).A new full-length studio album is also in the works, details of which are yet to be revealed.Additionally, the trio have announced their biggest tour to date, with concerts confirmed in the UK, Europe, North America Australia and New Zealand as well as their first-ever shows in Latin America.The mammoth stint will kick off next March and conclude in February 2024. For the UK leg, Blink-182 will visit Glasgow, London, Birmingham and Manchester in September and October 2023.Tickets go on sale at 10am local time next Monday (October 17).

After an Obama-appointed federal judge upheld a new Georgia election law against a challenge from Stacey Abrams, a top civil rights attorney told Fox News the Peach State's Democratic gubernatorial nominee continues to use an outdated political "playbook" to claim injustice. In an interview with Shannon Bream on "Fox News Sunday," Abrams said voter suppression purportedly still exists in municipalities where it people may have "difficulty registering" or where voter rolls may be subject to dormancy purges. "In the state of Georgia, we adequately proved and more and more voters have experienced difficulties with doing so," Abrams said.
