Zoe revealed that she had never met Channing before he was cast in her upcoming directorial debut Pussy Island, she did say that he was “brave enough” to take on the lead role.
“Looking at his work and hearing him speak about Magic Mike and the live show, I’m like, I think he’s a feminist,” Zoe said. “You need to be so far from who this is, where it’s not scary. And I don’t think we’ve ever seen him play someone dark. I’m excited to see him do that.”
Zoe dismissed questions about the paparazzi photos taken of the two, only saying: “I’m happy,” when discussing the relationship.
