Three US organisations that campaign for women’s rights and gender equality have filed an amicus brief in support of Kesha as part of her ongoing defamation battle with producer Dr Luke. They argue that recent changes to free speech laws in New York state should be applied to the Dr Luke v Kesha litigation, even though it pre-dates the passing of those new rules.Luke’s defamation claim against Kesha is all that remains of a wider legal battle between the two former collaborators, which began when Kesha accused Luke of rape.

“Outlander” Season 5 alum Ed Speleers is among the actors who’ve joined the cast of “You” for Season 4 in a series regular role, Netflix announced Friday.Speleers, also well-known for his work in “Downton Abbey” and “Eragon,” will play Rhys. According to a character description from Netflix: “Dry, irreverent Rhys is an author whose memoir garnered him acclaim and pressure to launch a political career. Born into poverty, Rhys lived a traumatic early life before he came into money, going to Oxford and making all the right friends.

Selome Hailu Netflix announced 14 new additions to the Season 4 cast of “You,” including Tilly Keeper, Amy Leigh Hickman and Ed Speleers as series regulars.Joining the cast in recurring roles are Niccy Lin, Aidan Cheng, Stephen Hagan, Ben Wiggins, Eve Austin, Ozioma Whenu, Dario Coates, Sean Pertwee, Brad Alexander, Alison Pargeter and Adam James.As previously announced, Charlotte Ritchie and Lukas Gage will also star in Season 4 alongside returning cast members Penn Badgley and Tati Gabrielle.
