Two women woke up covered in injuries after a night out with no memory of how they got them - police suspect the pair were spiked.
Greater Manchester Police is appealing for information after the incident. At approximately 12.30am on Sunday, June 19, two women left a bar in Monton, Eccles, and got into a silver people carrier taxi to go home, says the force.
The next memory the two female victims have is being at one of the victim’s home addresses, both women with multiple injuries. Neither of the victims can recall how they received those injuries.

Enquiries have suggested that both the victims travelled in the taxi only a few hundred meters before exiting and were then subsequently picked up in Monton by a couple in a black Mercedes.
Greater Manchester Police said in a statement: "We would like to appeal for the following people and information:
"The taxi driver of the silver people carrier who collected and dropped off the victims on Monton Road.
"The driver and passenger of the black Mercedes who collected the two victims."
