A woman who flew to Turkey to have her teeth fixed says she had more than £2,000 stolen from her hotel room.
Jasmine Ancock, 28, from Leigh, Wigan, jetted out with Jet2 Holidays to Antalya to have a full set of £4,000 veneers. She smashed her teeth as a child. She arrived with her partner in the early hours of October 4. She says that just a day into their stay, the pair were targeted.
Support worker Jasmine says they were sat around the pool on their first day before her partner went for a walk. When they returned to their hotel room, she claims, her boyfriend realised £2,280 had been taken.

Jasmine, who claims they were not shown how to use the optional safe on arrival, said: "He asked me 'have you taken any money out of the rucksack?'. I thought he was messing about."
When Jasmine realised what had happened, she added: "I was gutted, it's a lot of money and it took a while for us to save it up."
She claimed managers at the hotel weren't much help in finding out what had happened.
Jasmine says she asked Jet2 Holidays if they could change hotels, but was told there was nothing suitable available. She added: "They said it would cost us another £1,000, which we didn't have." Jasmine says she did not feel safe and it ruined the rest of their trip.
She added: "Luckily, we brought emergency money with us. I am glad I did or we would not have been able to do my teeth. It ruined the rest of our time."
The pair gave statements to police. She says Jet2 Holidays informed her to get a solicitor.
"We felt unsafe and upset, we didn't want to be there, we felt there was an atmosphere," she added.
A spokesperson for Jet2 said: “We would like to sincerely

Turkish Minute.“Let us see what position he will take here,” Erdoğan told reporters, referring to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the head of the country’s largest left-wing opposition party, the Republican People’s Party (CHP).Erdoğan proposed the amendment in an attempt to counter the CHP’s decision to introduce an amendment to the constitution to enshrine into law a woman’s right to wear a headscarf. By introducing a larger amendment that attacks the LGBTQ community, the Turkish president is hoping not only to rally social conservatives to his side, but to force the left-wing CHP to either come out in favor of his proposed amendment or reveal their pro-LGBTQ sympathies and risk losing the votes of devout Muslims.Erdoğan’s political machinations come at a time when his Islamist-backed ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) is trailing narrowly behind the opposition bloc in polls ahead of next year’s elections, according to a recent survey from the Piar polling company.
