A woman was rushed to hospital after being involved in a serious road smash in Edinburgh.The 64-year-old was involved in the single vehicle crash in the capital's Lanark Road on Friday.
Police and fire crews raced to the scene amid reports the crash, at around 2.50pm, yesterday afternoon.The road was closed while the emergency services, including two fire engines, dealt with the aftermath of the smash, and the woman was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.Her condition is not yet known.A Police
