A woman fell from a window following a suspected attack by an XL Bully dog in a flat.
Emergency services rushed to the Hickling Court area in Mansfield just after 11pm last night (Friday) to 'reports of a large dog attacking people and being on the loose', Nottinghamshire Live reports. The attack is believed to have started in a flat before the woman fell out the window.
The woman, and a man, were rushed to hospital from the scene, Nottinghamshire Police confirmed. The dog, believed to be an XL Bully type, was seized from a nearby property and taken to secure kennels.

A 38-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control. Police said the injuries sustained are not believed to be life-threatening.
The Government recently introduced a ban on the ownership of American XL Bully dogs. From February 1 next year, 2024, it will be a criminal offence to own one in England and Wales unless you have applied for exemption.
Any witnesses, or anyone with any information about the incident, is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 823 of 3 November.
