With the current cost of living crisis, many people will be racking their brains for ways to save a bit of money.
But one woman has taken it all the way back to the Second World War when her grandparents picked up some frugal habits that could help us today.
Jane Berry, a money expert, has written a book called Extreme Frugality: Save Money Like Your Grandma and has shared her top money-saving tips - all of which could save you up to £1,716, the Express reports.

With that in mind, here are Jane's best old-fashioned tips for saving money that could help you put away £1,716 a year.
