Woman appears in court accused of murder of man, 28, in Hyde

A woman accused of the murder of a man in Hyde has appeared in court.
Katie Lauren Yeomans, 27, appeared in the dock at Manchester Magistrates’ Court this morning (April 26) wearing a grey tracksuit.
Ms Yeomans, of Hyde, is charged with the murder of 28-year-old Reece Howarth on April 23 this year. She spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth and address.

Police were called to reports of a domestic disturbance at a house on Thorsby Avenue on Sunday, April 23.
Emergency services attended the scene, and a man was found in a critical condition. Despite the best efforts of medical staff, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No pleas were entered at this stage and the case was adjourned for a preliminary hearing at Manchester Crown Court later this week.
Ms Yeomans, of Thorsby Avenue, was remanded into custody to next appear at Manchester Crown Court on Friday, April 28.
Addressing her, District Judge Thomas Mitchell said: “This is the last time your case will be dealt with in the Magistrates’ court, it is far too serious to be dealt with in this court.”
