A man is in a 'serious' condition in hospital with injuries after a collision with a car - but police so far haven't been able to find out who he is.

A woman has died 13 days after being hit by a car at a busy junction in Fallowfield. Officers were called out to a collision involving a pedestrian and a silver Toyota Yaris car at around 5.50pm on Monday, January 29.
The incident took place at the junction of Lloyd Street South and Platt Lane. Greater Manchester Police says it attended the scene and assisted the pedestrian, a 39-year-old woman.
She was collected from the scene by a loved one. The pedestrian then attended hospital on Tuesday, January 30, and was discharged on the same day.

However, the woman sadly died on Sunday, February 11, 12 days after she was discharged. GMP says enquiries are ongoing to establish if her death is a result of injuries she sustained in the collision.
Initial enquiries suggest the Yaris was travelling along Lloyd Street South in the direction of Platt Lane. The pedestrian then entered the road, crossing Lloyd Street South, before being struck by the car.
The car stopped and remained at the scene. GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
