Wind Breaker is getting a second season!
After its season finale broadcast in Japan on Thursday (June 27), it has been confirmed that the hit anime series will continue with a new season in production for a 2025 on air release.
The show is based on the original manga created by Satoru Nii, and is published in Kodansha’s “Magazine Pocket.”
Here’s a synopsis: “Welcome to Furin High School, an institution infamous for its population of brawny brutes who solve every conflict with a show of strength. Some of the students even formed a group, Bofurin, which protects the town. Haruka Sakura, a first-year student who moved in from out of town, is only interested in one thing: fighting his way to the top.”

The animated television series is produced by CloverWorks, and directed by Toshifumi Akai, with series composition and screenplay written by Hiroshi Seko.
Crunchyroll will stream Season 2 in over 200 countries and territories worldwide.
The season finale of Wind Breaker Season 1 will be simulcast on Crunchyroll Thursday (June 27) at 10:30 am PT. The English dub for the Season 1 finale will arrive on Thursday (July 11), only on Crunchyroll.
