HBO is clearly working hard to get the upcoming adaptation of Ta-Nehisi Coates’ book “Between the World and Me” on TV screens this year. When it was announced that the network was working on an adaptation of the book, people were already excited enough to see this story told at a time when American politics and social discourse is dominated by the death of George Floyd and the prevalence of Black Lives Matter protests.

Oprah Winfrey has set up 26 billboards in and around Louisville, Kentucky, demanding swift justice for Breonna Taylor's death. Each billboard features the same image of Taylor that Winfrey used on the front of the September issue of O, The Oprah Magazine, marking the first time Winfrey herself did not appeare on the publication's cover.
