Anyone hoping to see their favourite celebs battle for the Dancing on Ice trophy will have to wait a bit longer before they find out who will take home the amazing trophy. In a shake-up to its typical Sunday schedule, ITV has confirmed that the Dancing on Ice final will not air on Sunday 20 March, due to a scheduling conflict. The dancing show's finale has been pushed back by a week so the channel can cover the FA Cup quarter-final match between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool. The football match is due to kick off at 5.15pm and coverage will be on ITV for three hours, meaning that the programme would clash with Dancing on Ice’s usual prime-time 6.30pm slot on ITV1.

However, to make up for the delay, fans of Dancing on Ice will be able to see the finalists battle it out in an extra-long episode next week. Last week it was revealed that Brendan Cole, Regan Gascoigne and Kimberly Wyatt would be taking their place as the final three.
After a dreaded skate-off, the four judges – Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo – announced that Connor Ball and Kye Whyte would be leaving the show. In spite of the exit, Kye and Connor remained positive as Kye said: “I've loved this so much, I'm doing TV again one day!” While Connor added: “I've honestly had the best time ever!” Things were also thrown into turmoil when presenter Holly Willoughby tested positive for Covid-19 a few hours before the semi final, causing co-host Phillip Schofield to go it alone.
