Award ceremony season is in full swing and the celeb types are probably sick of red roll-on carpet, glasses of posh bubbly and double air kisses. Probably.

The very best of Britain’s music talent has rocked up to London's O2 Arena for the annual Brit Awards.

A pair of newer British stars, rapper Dave and singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi, were the two biggest winners Monday (Feb. 18) at the 2020 Brit Awards -- the 40th installment of the U.K. award show.

Let them eat! Each year dozens of stars sit in the audience for hours during several awards shows as they honor and celebrate their peers. While some of these annual ceremonies, such as the Golden Globes, provide the crowd of famous faces with food and drinks, many are completely devoid of any and all eats.

The Brit Awards are getting juiced up. Lizzo is added to the lineup of performers for the 2020 Brit Awards, alongside Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Mabel, Stormzy and more.

As awards season comes to a close, there are only a few more honors to be handed out before the Oscars, including the 2020 EE British Academy Film Awards.

With the number of flights taken to get to each ceremony and the emissions involved in making each new red carpet outfit, awards season isn’t particularly environmentally friendly. Joaquin Phoenix has taken an unusual stand this year by pledging to wear the same Stella McCartney suit for each event, and he now looks to have stepped out in the black tux at the British Academy Film Awards.
