Queen Elizabeth II was not in attendance. The 40-year-old Duchess of Cambridge dazzled in a stunning royal blue Catherine Walker coat and matching Sean Barratt hat for the occasion.

Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska took to her Instagram to show some of the horrific attacks that Russian forces have made against Ukraine, including a maternity hospital and medical center that was destroyed by an airstrike on Wednesday March 9. The videos she shared showed the debris from the attack, as well as some people trying to help, and a few people could be seen leaving the scene. In the background, men and women could be heard yelling in Ukrainian.

The program will air on Friday, March 4, at 8 p.m.

Sean Penn, 61, continued to chronicle his time in Ukraine on Monday, Feb. 28,  tweeting what he and his colleagues witnessed while waking to the Polish border. The Oscar-winner shared a photo of himself walking down a long road with his luggage in tow and what appeared to be miles of cars lining the road. “Myself & two colleagues walked miles to the Polish border after abandoning our car on the side of the road. Almost all the cars in this photo carry women & children only, most without any sign of luggage, and a car, their only possession of value,” he wrote.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has had quite the career in the entertainment industry, having worked as a comedian, starred in reality TV shows and even a major Hollywood film. The 44 year old former star turned politician was voted in as the new president of Ukraine in 2019, in an election that saw him win over 70 per cent of the national vote. At first, some were incredibly sceptical of the star's ability to lead the Ukrainian people, but that has been firmly put to rest with his incredible response to Russia's invasion of the country in recent days.
