‘White Rabbit’s Vivian Bang Joins New Line’s ‘The Parenting’ For HBO Max

A nearly three-hour Batman film, bordering on R-Rated, certainly not for kids, that’s nihilistic, darker than the Christopher Nolan films, and not really much of a traditional superhero movie released during a pandemic seemed like a risky endeavor for Warner Bros. earlier this year (read our review here).

EXCLUSIVE: Warner Bros. and New Line have joined Horizon, the epic period Western that Kevin Costner is directing, starring in and producing through his Territory Pictures. Costner co-wrote the script with Jon Baird,. Costner and Baird recently teamed on the script for another future project, The Explorers Guild. Horizon will put the Yellowstone star back behind the camera for the first time since 2003’s critically acclaimed Open Range. Horizon has been a longtime passion project for Costner, and one that has the sweep of his 1990 epic Dances With Wolves, the film that won Best Picture and Best Director Oscars for Costner among seven wins out of a dozen Oscar nominations.

Deftones have officially unveiled their new touring line-up, with bassist Fred Sablan making his debut on the first night of the band’s long-awaited North American tour with Gojira.Sablan, who is best known as the former bassist for Marilyn Manson, kicked off his tenure with Chino Moreno and co. at the band’s Portland show at the Moda Center on Thursday night (April 14).It comes after Vega announced last month that he had officially left Deftones.

The series will explore the life of Jackson “Jake” Hyde, a gay teenager living in New Mexico. All his life, he has had a strange attraction to the water and yearns to escape his desert surroundings for the ocean.
