bracing themselves for all-time low TV ratings, we are told, due to limited audience awareness of this year’s low-key crop of nominees. Yet for those interested, it’s never been easier to do Oscar catchup viewing: all but four of the 40-odd features nominated for a golden statuette this year are available to watch online.
Truth be told, no Emmy category includes more memorable performances of the past year in any medium than Lead Actress in a Limited Series or TV movie. It’s historically rich in incredible work.
If any of the acting categories for the Limited Series or TV Movie contenders are in flux it’s the race for the Lead Actor Emmy.
Six slots and only one Emmys lock. Yep, the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie category is essentially wide open.
Was it Kathryn Hahn all along? That’s the big question regarding this year’s Emmy category for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series. Can anyone seriously stop the “WandaVision” scene-stealer from winning her first Emmy Award on her second nomination? And, sure, she’ll get some legitimate competition from “Small Axe’s” Letitia Wright and “Mare of Easttown’s” Jean Smart.

The Oscars aren’t just about the award ceremony, the pre and post parties are just as much fun – if not more.
